Hello darlings. It's me.
So, I'm a bit concerned with the overwhelming use of words such as "swerve," "swag," "YOLO," "ratchet," and the ever so popular phrase, "the struggle is real." It's more than a concern. These terms are actually going to be the cause of my future insanity. Many of you know of my opposition to violence, but I feel that there will be no other option if I have to continue to listen to these words.
I don't know how to put this kindly, but I'll give it my best shot... STOP USING THESE WORDS NOW, BECAUSE IT'S EXTREMELY ANNOYING! There, I think I did a good job.
No, but in all seriousness, I do think that saying ratchet is inappropriate 97% of the time. A ratchet is a tool, not an adjective. It wouldn't be such an issue, however, if maybe one or two people said it, though. What makes it a problem is when I sit through a class and hear the same group use it 49293756 times. Everyone says it! Not only does everyone say it though, but everyone OVERuses it.
Did anyone say that the struggle was fake? I do not think so. We are all aware of the struggle of daily life. Thank you, though, for informing us that it isn't imaginary. I'm truly grateful.
Swag? That's just dumb. You sound dumb. You don't have swag. You just are overly confident or lacking confidence. A healthy person with an appropriate outlook wouldn't need to announce their "swag."
You know, I'm going to skip class and hide in the woods, because YOLO! Then I'm going to dance on top of a table, because YOLO! Why did everyone, all of the sudden, realize that they're only going to live once? Is this news? Because I could have told you guys that years ago. Duh! Why do I hear this nonsense repeatedly, over and over? Why does the fact that you only live once justify your irrational behaviors? Do it because you want to, not because YOLO.
I don't have much to say about swerve. It's just rude. Only time I'm going to swerve is to save my life when a car is driving toward me. Other than that, don't expect me to be swerving.
Talk about annoying. If you guys could please, please just tone down the number of times you use each of these words hourly, it would be awesome! You're awesome; you know that?
